The Hall was constructed in 1963 with the first floor extension being added in 1980, followed by a recent extension to the rear, the Melrose Room.
There are forty six numbered car parking spaces plus four disabled parking bays at the front and two on the left hand side. Additional street parking is also an option.
The ground floor rooms are all on one level and a portable ramp is available for the front entrance with paved ramps to the side and rear fire escape doors.
An eight person hydraulic passenger lift is installed for easy access to the first floor rooms. There are disabled toilets on both floors, which also have baby changing facilities.
Fire escape routes are clearly marked and plans are posted throughout the building. The staircases to the upper floor are of solid concrete construction. No asbestos is present.
During the Covid 19 virus restrictions, the rooms are space treated with an approved disinfectant and hand cleansing dispensers are available at strategic points.
Facilities at the Hall are regularly reviewed by the Management Committee.
